Every year in the last week of September reflexologists celebrate World Reflexology Week, to promote awareness of this wonderful therapy.
World Reflexology Week 2019 is taking place on 23-29 September. The event is a great opportunity for our Reflexology community to show potential clients and employers the many benefits reflexology has to offer and raise the therapies profile.

We encourage all Reflexologists to get together with other learners or FHT members in your local group or our community organise events where taster treatments are available to raise the therapies profile, both in treatment and by encouraging new therapists.
Here at Brighton Holistics you will see our social media feeds reflect upon the modern practice of an an ancient world wide art. Where reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all glands, organs and structures of the body.
The feet act as effective shock absorbers, they are the foundation of the body and just like the foundations of any structure if these are faulty, serious defects can occur in any part of the structure.
Why encourage or learn Reflexology?
Making time for a treatment is the first step in making time for self. Reflexology can aid in raising a clients self esteem and encourage the client to take a closer look at their health, wellbeing and lifestyle.
Reflexology pressure stimulates the brain to release more endorphins while at the same time producing and overlap for the nervous system, shutting down nerve pathways relaying pain signals to the brain. There are a number of areas on the body where large numbers of nerve cells are close to the skins surface, these include the soles of the feet and hands.
Why join the Brighton Holistics community?
