|Brief:||This Reflexology level 5 training course taught at Brighton Holistics is comprehensive and practical. You will study and gain knowledge of the principles of Reflexology, and how Reflexologists practice. The Reflexology Level 5 qualification is the highest grade of professional Reflexology training available in the UK.|
|Requirements:||Learners must be over the age of 18 and meet the pre-course pre-requisites, which are shown below.|

|Duration:||Weekday – This course takes approximately 16 months to complete. There are an initial 4 consecutive days, starting from the course start date shown above, with a further 14 tutorial days spread throughout the course duration, plus your final assessment day.
Weekend – The weekend version of this course is carried out over 2 consecutive weekends (Saturday and Sunday), starting from the course start date shown above, with a further 14 tutorial days spread throughout the course duration, plus your final assessment day. This course takes approximately 16 months to complete.
During 16 months you will need to attend 18 training days (this includes your assessment day) at Brighton Holistics. Each training day starts at 10.30 am and finishes at around 4.30 pm. Please note that this is a part-time course. Due to the amount of information covered in the course home studies of approximately 5 hours per week will be required.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, for the foreseeable future, all theory lessons will be carried out using Zoom before the course starts, this will require three x one and half hour online meetings and three one hour online meetings. Prior to the first day of training, you will be allocated a time slot. There will be a morning session starting at 10 am till 12.30 and an afternoon session starting at 2 pm till 4.30 pm. Learners must bring their own models to work on during the practical module and will not be allowed to work on each other. Only two learners and their models (total of 4 people plus tutor) are permitted into the treatment room during this time. During the practical training session, a sealed bottled of water will be provided, but please feel free to bring a flask of hot drink with you for you and your model. Towels must be provided by the learner and you will be asked to sign a disclaimer to say your towels have been freshly washed at 60°C or above. No towels will be provided by Brighton Holistics for models to use. Before any learner or model is allowed entry into the training room, their temperature will be checked to ensure it is under the allowed limit.

Sports Massage Level 3 to Reflexology Level 5 Qualification Training Course – More Details
This Reflexology level 5 training course taught at Brighton Holistics is comprehensive and practical. You will study and gain knowledge of the principles of Reflexology, and how Reflexologists practice. You will learn the benefits and techniques of Reflex areas which are found on the soles, the top and the sides of the feet. Reflexology works by stimulating the body’s self-healing mechanism to function efficiently. Reflexology is used to treat a number of physical, emotional and mental ailments.
Reflexology Level 5 involves the skilled application of pressure to specific points on the feet in order to restore balance to the body and includes all modalities of Reflexology. These points represent reflex areas which correspond to parts of the body. The Reflexology Level 5 qualification is the highest grade of professional Reflexology training available in the UK.
This Reflexology Level 5 course will give you the standing to be a fully qualified, accredited and registered Reflexologist. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to register with the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT), the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) as well as being able to register on the Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA).

Reflexology Level 5 Course information
Level 5 Diploma in Reflexology. Accredited by the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT).
This course is a Level 5 Qualification and is fully accredited by the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT).
To qualify for this upgrade course you must hold a recognised level 3 qualification, which meets the National Occupational Standard and the Core Curriculum. Your qualification must be no more than five years old. This is called Accredited Prior Learning (APL). If your qualification is more than five years old you will have to take the full qualification course.
A maximum of eight learners per class, this allows the tutor to monitor individuals progress and development. Please see the booking terms and conditions for information.
Manuals & Certification:
Training manuals will be downloadable to each learner via their online learning portal. These manuals will be available to download for 60 days once your course has started. It will be the learner’s responsibility to download and save the training manuals within this time. Manuals can be read on all devices. Certification for your course will be emailed to you once you have met the learning outcomes.
Learning Outcomes & Evidence of achievement:
Learners will be required to show achievement of a range of relevant learning outcomes and assessment criteria, as set by the National Occupational Standard and Accrediting Body by: –
- Practical assessments and theoretical knowledge will be assessed during your training time.
- You will need to complete twenty clients each having two treatments, eight clients each having six treatments, twelve clients each having one treatment, giving the total of one hundred case studies along with a practical assessment.
- All case studies are completed through the Brighton Holistics online assessment portal.
- Certification will only be issued once you show that you are competent with this treatment and that you have met the range of learning outcomes and assessment criteria that have been set by the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and accrediting body.
- Some professional bodies don’t require case studies, however, this does not meet the National Occupational Standards (NOS).
Upon completion of this course, you will be able to register with the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT), the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) as well as being able to register on the Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA).

To book your course, simply choose the date you wish to start your course on and whether you wish to pay just the deposit or the full payment and click the ‘Add to basket’ button. Then click ‘View basket’ (you can add as many items to the basket as you wish) and select ‘Processed to checkout’. You will then be required to complete the checkout process which requires you answering a number of questions. Now choose how you wish to pay; you have three options. PayPal, credit or debit card or over the telephone. You will also see an option to pay by instalments. Please note that this option is only available when booking a Level 3 qualification course. Short courses and online courses cannot be booked using instalment payments.
You will need to tick to confirm that you agree to and that you have read the Brighton Holistics Booking T’s & C’s.
