Brighton Holistics are pleased to offer you the ‘Reiki Second Degree Accredited Practitioner Qualification’ training course in Brighton.

Title: Reiki Second Degree Accredited Practitioner Qualification – (Okuden)
Accreditation: This course is accredited by the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT) and the Reiki Federation (FR)
Cost of the Course: The cost of this course is £595. Inclusive of VAT.
Course Fee Covers: The course fee covers all FHT assessment and exam fees, as well as,  Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology.
Payment Method: To book a course a 50% deposit must be paid. Payment can be made via PayPal, bank transfer or by calling the Brighton Holistics office on 01273 672 690. To book online, simply select an appropriate Available Start Date and click the add to basket button.
Duration: This is a two-day fully accredited training course. Please see the COVID-19 Alternations section below to see how the course will be structured during the current restrictions.

This course takes approximately 12 months to complete. The course is run over 2 consecutive days, with 1 additional tutorial day during the course duration, plus your final assessment day. During the course, you will receive ongoing support via telephone and email. Please note that this is a part-time course. The price shown includes Vat and all examination costs.

During 12 months you will need to attend 3 training days at Brighton Holistics. Please note that this is a part-time course. Due to the amount of information covered in the course home studies of approximately 5 hours per week will be required.

Brief: Reiki Second Degree Accredited Practitioner training course taught at Brighton Holistics is comprehensive and practical. Training is open to First Degree initiates who are ready to undertake the commitment and responsibility at this level. This course will give you a great foundation in practical and underpinning knowledge to be a fully qualified and accredited registered Practitioner.
Requirements: You must hold a Reiki First Degree certificate for a minimum of six months to attend this course. Basic computer skills will be an advantage, as your portfolio will be completed online.
COVID-19 Alteration: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, for the foreseeable future, all theory lessons will be carried out using Zoom. Zoom sessions will start at 10.30 am each day. This will mean that a large part of your Reiki course will be completed via a group session within Zoom. There will be plenty of time for open discussion and asking questions. For day two you will be allocated a time slot, the morning session, starting at 10 am till 12.30 and an afternoon session, starting 2 pm till 4.30 pm. Learners must bring their own models to work on during the practical module. Only two learners and their models (total of four people plus tutor) are permitted into the treatment room during this time. During the practical training session, a sealed bottled of water will be provided, but please feel free to bring a flask of hot drink with you for you and your model. Towels must be provided by the learner, and you will be asked to sign a disclaimer to say your towels have been freshly washed at 60°C or above. No towels will be provided by Brighton Holistics for models to use. Before any learner or model is allowed entry into the training room, their temperature will be checked to ensure it is under the allowed limit.

Reiki Second Degree Accredited Practitioner QualificationTraining Course – More Details

Reiki Second Degree Accredited Practitioner training course taught at Brighton Holistics is comprehensive and practical. Training is open to First Degree initiates who are ready to undertake the commitment and responsibility at this level. Second Degree training and attunement will increase the potency of the energy flow, expand upon the knowledge already acquired and introduce numerous fascinating ways of using the energy. You will find that the possibilities are endless, limited only by your own imagination! This course will give you a great foundation in practical and underpinning knowledge to be a fully qualified and accredited registered Practitioner.

Upon completion of this course you will be able to register with the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) as well as being able to register on the Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA).

During the course we will cover the following topics:

  • Working with the mind and body link,

  •  Energetic anatomy,
  •  Hands-on Reiki healing (couch and chair – Reiki II symbols and Techniques),

  • Health, safety and hygiene level 3 qualification,

If you already have a Reiki Second Degree qualification but wish to study the accredited practitioner module that’s no problem (The cost of our Reiki 2nd Degree course will be deducted from this course fee). Please note that one-day courses or online courses in Reiki are not recognised qualifications. This means they do not meet the National Occupational Standard or Core Curriculum. Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) Reiki Second Degree Accredited Practitioner Diploma.

Course accreditation:

This course is accredited by the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT), The Reiki Federation (RF) and is approved by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council  (CNHC). This course has been awarded 20 CPD points.

Course Pre-requisites:

You must hold a Reiki First Degree certificate for a minimum of six months to attend this course. The Learner must be over 18.

Class Size:

A maximum of eight learners per class, this allows the tutor to monitor individual progress and development. Please see the booking terms and conditions for information.

Manuals & Certification:

Training manuals will be downloadable to each learner via their online learning portal. These manuals will be available to download for 60 days once your course has started. It will be the learner’s responsibility to download and save the training manuals within this time. Manuals can be read on all devices. Certification for your course will be emailed to you once you have met the learning outcomes.

Learning Outcomes & Evidence of achievement:

Learners will be required to show achievement of a range of relevant learning outcomes and assessment criteria, as set by the National Occupational Standard and Accrediting Body by:

  • Practical assessments and theoretical knowledge will be assessed during your training time.
  • You will need to complete seventy-five case studies; this is made up of fifteen clients each having five treatments along with a practical assessment.
  • A logbook showing that received 100 hours of treatments this is made up of self-treatments and receiving Reiki treatments from others.
  • All case studies are completed through the Brighton Holistics online assessment portal.
  • Certification will only be issued once you show that you are competent with this treatment and that you have met the range of learning outcomes and assessment criteria that have been set by the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and accrediting body.
  • Some professional bodies don’t require case studies, however, this does not meet the National Occupational Standards (NOS).

Upon completion of this course you will be able to register with the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT), the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) as well as being able to register on the Accredited Voluntary Register (AVR) by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care (PSA).

Dates, Bookings and Information:

All available dates are shown above under ‘Available start dates’. To book your course, simply choose the date you wish to start your course on and whether you wish to pay just the deposit or the full payment and click the ‘Add to basket’ button. Then click ‘View basket’ (you can add as many items to the basket as you wish) and select ‘Processed to checkout’. You will then be required to complete the checkout process which requires you answering a number of questions. Now choose how you wish to pay; you have three options. PayPal, credit or debit card or over the telephone. You will also see an option to pay by instalments. Please note that this option is only available when booking a Level 3 qualification course. Short courses and online courses cannot be booked using instalment payments.

You will need to tick to confirm that you agree to and that you have read the Brighton Holistics Booking T’s & C’s. Once you have pressed proceed and payment has been made or registered, an email will be sent directly to you confirming that we have received your order. This will then be confirmed via another email when Brighton Holistics have processed your order and three days after that you will receive a ‘Welcome to Brighton Holistics’ email.
