Brighton Holistics are pleased to offer you the ‘Reiki Second Degree’ training course in Brighton.

Title: Reiki Second Degree(Okuden)
Accreditation: This course is accredited by the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT).
Cost of the Course: The cost of this course is £250. Inclusive of VAT.
Course Fee Covers: The course fee covers all FHT assessment and exam fees.

Brief: This Reiki Second Degree Training Course taught at Brighton Holistics is comprehensive and practical. Second Degree training and attunement will increase the potency of the energy flow, expand upon the knowledge already acquired and introduce numerous fascinating ways of using the energy. You will find that the possibilities are endless, limited only by your own imagination!
Requirements: You must hold a Reiki First Degree certificate to needed to attend this course. The Learner must be over 18.
COVID-19 Alteration: Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, for the foreseeable future, all theory lessons will be carried out using Zoom. Zoom sessions will start at 10.30 am each day. This will mean that a large part of your Reiki course will be completed via a group session within Zoom. There will be plenty of time for open discussion and asking questions. For day two you will be allocated a time slot, the morning session, starting at 10 am till 12.30 and an afternoon session, starting 2 pm till 4.30 pm. Learners must bring their own models to work on during the practical module. Only two learners and their models (total of four people plus tutor) are permitted into the treatment room during this time. During the practical training session, a sealed bottled of water will be provided, but please feel free to bring a flask of hot drink with you for you and your model. Towels must be provided by the learner, and you will be asked to sign a disclaimer to say your towels have been freshly washed at 60°C or above. No towels will be provided by Brighton Holistics for models to use. Before any learner or model is allowed entry into the training room, their temperature will be checked to ensure it is under the allowed limit.

Reiki Second Degree Training Course – More Details

This Reiki Second Degree training course taught at Brighton Holistics is comprehensive and practical. Second Degree training and attunement will increase the potency of the energy flow, expand upon the knowledge already acquired and introduce numerous fascinating ways of using the energy. You will find that the possibilities are endless, limited only by your own imagination!
As well as increasing the healing potential of others you will increase your own insight and intuitive ability. You will greatly accelerate the on-going process of self-discovery, development, and healing, in bringing more abundance into all areas of your life.

Classes are taught over two days and on completion of the training, you will be awarded an authorised certificate, and you are guaranteed unlimited post-course support.

It is recommended you leave a gap of at least six months between the Second Degree and the Second Degree (b) Advanced Practitioner level, ideally working with the energy until you know you are ready to take the next step.

During the course we will cover the following topics:

  •  Working with the mind and body link,
  •  Introduction to visualisation,
  •  Energetic anatomy,
  •  Hands-on Reiki healing (couch and chair – Reiki II symbols and Techniques),
  •  Grounding,
  •  Distance Reiki healing (Reiki II symbol and techniques),
  •  Meditation practice,
  •  Introduction to counselling & helping skills.

Course information

Qualification gained:

Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) Reiki Practitioner Second Degree.

Course accreditation:

This course is accredited by the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT). This course has been awarded 20 CPD points.

Course Pre-requisites:

You must hold a Reiki First Degree certificate to needed to attend this course. The Learner must be over 18.

Class Size:

A maximum of six learners per class, this allows the tutor to monitor individual progress and development. During and after the course you will be given as much support as needed for any questions you may have along your Reiki journey. Please see the booking terms and conditions for information.

Manuals & Certification:

Training manuals will be downloadable to each learner via their online learning portal. These manuals will be available to download for 60 days once your course has started. It will be the learner’s responsibility to download and save the training manuals within this time. Manuals can be read on all devices. Certification for your course will be emailed to you once you have met the learning outcomes.

Learning Outcomes & Evidence of achievement:

Learners will be required to show achievement of a range of relevant learning outcomes and assessment criteria, as set by the National Occupational Standard and Accrediting Body by:

  • Practical assessments and theoretical knowledge will be assessed during your training time.
  • Federation of Holistic Therapist (FHT) members will need to complete six case studies; this is made up of two clients each having three treatments.
  • All case studies are completed through the Brighton Holistics online assessment portal.
  • Certification will only be issued once you show that you are competent with this treatment and that you have met the range of learning outcomes and assessment criteria that have been set by the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and accrediting body.
  • Some professional bodies don’t require case studies, however, this does not meet the National Occupational Standards (NOS).

Dates, Bookings and Information:

All available dates are shown above under ‘Available start dates’. To book your course, simply choose the date you wish to start your course on and whether you wish to pay just the deposit or the full payment and click the ‘Add to basket’ button. Then click ‘View basket’ (you can add as many items to the basket as you wish) and select ‘Processed to checkout’. You will then be required to complete the checkout process which requires you answering a number of questions. Now choose how you wish to pay; you have three options. PayPal, credit or debit card or over the telephone. You will also see an option to pay by instalments. Please note that this option is only available when booking a Level 3 qualification course. Short courses and online courses cannot be booked using instalment payments.

You will need to tick to confirm that you agree to and that you have read the Brighton Holistics Booking T’s & C’s. Once you have pressed proceed and payment has been made or registered, an email will be sent directly to you confirming that we have received your order. This will then be confirmed via another email when Brighton Holistics have processed your order and three days after that you will receive a ‘Welcome to Brighton Holistics’ email.
