This Neuromuscular Therapy training course taught at Brighton Holistics is comprehensive and practical. Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) is a specialised form of Bodywork which aims to produce a long-term change over a series of sessions. It works on the basis that much of the pain and tension we hold is, in fact, a result of ‘holding’ in the nervous system and that by retraining the nervous system we can deactivate painful spots (trigger points) and release long-term tension and restrictions in movement. During the course, you will look at how this tension within the body can be realised maximising your treatments for your clients. |
During the course we will cover the following topics:
- What is neuromuscular techniques (NMT)
- Therapeutic effects of Neuromuscular Approaches
- Considerations for the use of Neuromuscular Approaches
- Application of neuromuscular techniques
