|Requirements:||Learners must be over the age of 18 and meet the pre-course pre-requisites, which are shown below.|
|COVID-19 Alteration:||Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, for the foreseeable future, all theory and practical sessions for this course will be completed via Zoom.
We will study the theory of this subject during the morning session starting at 10.30am till 12.30pm and the practical session will then be from 1.30pm till 4.30pm.
Please note that case studies must be completed before certification will be issued. Your case studies are made up of two clients each having three treatments and you have one year to complete these case studies from the date of your course.
It is important that you meet the pre-courses requirements listed below and that you have the necessary equipment to complete the practical module of this course. If you have any questions, please contact us before the scheduled practical session. Please also ensure that you are able to set up a space with a treatment bed, ensuring that we are able to view the full routine during the practical training.
Brighton Holistics, we give you as much Zoom and email support as needed to make sure that you are competent in this therapy.
Once we can, we will revert back to face-to-face training, but only when it is safe to do so.

Aroma Reflexology Practitioner Diploma Course – More Details
This Aroma Reflexology training course taught at Brighton Holistics is comprehensive and practical. You will study and gain the knowledge of the principles of Aromatherapy. You will learn the benefits of Aromatherapy and how to implement Aromatherapy into your Reflexology treatment, and the sources and effects of essential oils, and be able to provide treatments safely and effectively to clients in different circumstances and be able to apply essential oils in other mediums such as waxes, creams, lotions and water products.
Due to the current wording on the National Occupational Standards (NOS) you will not be able to call yourself an Aromatherapists, at the current time. You will study the part of the Aromatherapy Level 3 course so that when the NOS does change in the future, you will be able to carry this knowledge forward to the full Level 3 Aromatherapy qualification.
This course is for qualified Reflexologists Only.
During the course we will cover the following topics:
- The principles and practice for Aromatherapy,
- Health, safety and hygiene,
- Legislation and working practices,
- Reflective practice,
- Good practice and legal obligations,
- History & development of Aromatherapy,
- Why and how Aromatherapy works,
- Physiological therapeutic effects of essential oils & aromatherapy,
- In-Depth knowledge of over 40 essential oils,
- How to blend Aromatherapy oils to suit a client,
- Where the oils come from and how they are harvested,
- Chemistry of Aromatherapy,
- Carrier oils and other mediums used in Aromatherapy,
- Aromatherapy product making,
- Implement Aromatherapy oils into a Reflexology treatment.
Due to the current National Occupational Standard (NOS) wording, you can not call yourself an Aromathapists ofter completing this course.
Please note that one-day courses or online courses in Aromatherapy are not recognised qualifications or insurable. This means they do not meet the National Occupational Standard or Core Curriculum. Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT) Diploma in Aroma Reflexology.
This course is accredited by the Federation of Holistics Therapists (FHT). This course has been awarded 20 CPD points.
The qualification gained from this course will only be accepted for professional practice and insurance if the learner holds the pre-requisites of a recognised accredited Level 3 Reflexology qualification.

A maximum of four learners per class, this allows the tutor to monitor individuals progress and development. As training is given in small groups, learners will be required to bring a model for each day of the training course, for you to practice the treatment on. Learners do not practice treatments on each other as this reduces the learning time by half. Please see the booking terms and conditions for information.
Manuals & Certification:
Training manuals will be downloadable to each learner via their online learning portal. These manuals will be available to download for 60 days once your course has started. It will be the learner’s responsibility to download and save the training manuals within this time. Manuals can be read on all devices. Certification for your course will be emailed to you once you have met the learning outcomes.
Learning Outcomes & Evidence of achievement:
Learners will be required to show achievement of a range of relevant learning outcomes and assessment criteria, as set by the National Occupational Standard and Accrediting Body by:
- Practical assessments and theoretical knowledge will be assessed during your training time.
- All learners for this course will need to complete twenty case studies; this is made up of ten clients each having two treatments.
Dates, Bookings and Information:
All available dates are shown above under ‘Available start dates’. To book your course, simply choose the date you wish to start your course on and whether you wish to pay just the deposit or the full payment and click the ‘Add to basket’ button. Then click ‘View basket’ (you can add as many items to the basket as you wish) and select ‘Processed to checkout’. You will then be required to complete the checkout process which requires you answering a number of questions. Now choose how you wish to pay; you have three options. PayPal, credit or debit card or over the telephone. You will also see an option to pay by instalments. Please note that this option is only available when booking a Level 3 qualification course. Short courses and online courses cannot be booked using instalment payments.
You will need to tick to confirm that you agree to and that you have read the Brighton Holistics Booking T’s & C’s. Once you have pressed proceed and payment has been made or registered, an email will be sent directly to you confirming that we have received your order. This will then be confirmed via another email when Brighton Holistics have processed your order and three days after that you will receive a ‘Welcome to Brighton Holistics’ email.
