As you are aware, towel cabinets are large, bulky and take a lot of space plus can be very expensive and they generally only warm towels. This is the main reason why a lot of salons still use water bowls which can cause cross contamination and generally do not stay warm for long, or in our own experience, you have to leave the client for a period of time while you refill the kettle or microwave your towels.
BEAUTY-PRO makes the removal of product from the skin during beauty treatments easier without the use of water bowls plus a lot more time effective as your towels are right beside you and always hot. This is how we came up with the concept of the BEAUTY-PRO Hot Towel Steamer.
It is a very compact steamer, which takes up little room, and is ideal for treatment areas of all sizes or for portable treatment if you are mobile. As it uses steam the towels get hot which help open the pores and get the deep-down dirt and grime, men and women both use this method, it not only cleans the pores but is also relaxing.

Q. Is Beauty-Pro Portable?
A. Yes, Beauty-Pro is fully portable and light weight at less than 800g. The foot print is only 17cm x 17cm and 19cm high.
Q. How long does it take for the towels to be ready?
A. Towels are ready, from dry, in 15 minutes.
Q. Do I need to dampen or wet the towels first?
A. No, place the towels in dry. If you want your towels ready quicker, than dampen them first. Compared to a towel cabinet which you normally have to wet and then wring out before placing the towels into the cabinet. Beauty-Pro is a lot quicker!
Q. How many towels will Beauty-Pro hold?
A. This depends on the size of towel. Standard Face Towel of 30x30cm, you can fit 4-6, the next size up will fit 3-4 and the next size up 2-3. Simply fold and roll the towels to a height of 10cm for the best heat retention and distribution. Remember, that every time you take a towel out of steamer, you can replace it with another.
Q. How thick should the towels be that I use will Beauty-Pro?
A. The thicker the towel the longer the heat is retained by the towel. When purchasing towels we recommend 500gsm or more for best results. Beauty-Pro’s range of luxury towels are 600gsm in weight made from Royal Egyptian Cotton.
Q. Can I use hand or feet mitts with Beauty-Pro?
A. Yes, simply place the mitts in the steamer and leave them in for a shorter amount of time, 5-10 minutes.
Q. Does it sterilise the towels?
A. The towels are going in clean and therefore will not need sterilising. The unit is not a steriliser and we do not recommend placing used towels back into the unit.
Q. How long is the timer?
A. The timer setting is up to 60 minutes.
Q. Is the Hot Towel Steamer quiet?
A. Yes, there is a very gentle ticking from the timer and the sound of steaming water otherwise it is ever so quiet and neither noticeable when in the background doing a treatment, etc.
Q. Can the hot towel steamer be left on all day?
A. Yes the hot towel steamer can be left on all day and you simply need to top up with water and reset the timer to restart. The hot towel steamer has an automatic cut off for when the water runs out.
Q. Should I use tongs to remove the hot towels?
A. Yes, this is the safest way to remove the towels before applying to the skin. Simply remove the towels with tongs from the corner of the towel and then let them unravel, the steam will release and once aired for just a moment they are safe to handle by hand.
Q. Can I use an essential oil with the towels?
A. Yes, the easiest way is to simply add 1-2 drops per fill of water, this will then steam the towels with the desired essential oil. To maintain the life of your unit please refer to the cleaning instructions below as this is very important. The clear top chamber MUST be washed out every day with hot soapy water to clean out any residue oil, this will prevent the oil from attracting to the plastic and cracking.
Q. Can I buy additional clear top steamer chambers and how much are they?
A. Yes, this section is a consumable item and costs only £10.00 excluding VAT to replace.
After some time the top clear plastic, known as the steamer chamber, will deteriorate and may need replacing. Plus in the interest of hygiene it is important to replace this when it has deteriorated.
Q. Does the hot towel steamer have a warranty or guarantee?
A. Yes, the base unit is covered by a 1 year warranty. Inside every box is a warranty registration form which must be sent back within 60 days in order to validate your 1 year warranty.
Q. How much energy does the Beauty-Pro use?
A. The wattage of the unit is only 400W. This is considerably cheaper to run than a hot towel cabinet.
Q. Using outside of the UK, do I need a plug adapter?
A. Yes, the unit is fitted with a BS (British Standard) UK plug. An adapter will be necessary for your local plug type. These are similar to travel adapters and are very inexpensive.
Q. How do I clean the Beauty-Pro Hot Towel Steamer?
A. BASE: To clean the base unit, unplug the unit from the wall and wipe clean the interior water chamber. To descale, simply place hot water in the water chamber and cut half a fresh lemon into the hot water and leave overnight, this will naturally and ecologically descale the base. CLEAR STEAM CHAMBER: Wash out thoroughly with hot soapy water especially to remove any residue essential oils. Do NOT use a scourer in either respect.
