This two day Holistic Facial Level 2 training course has been designed for complementary and holistic therapies that would to like offer their clients a relaxing and rejuvenating facials without having to enrol onto a full beauty therapy course.
During the course you will study: -
- Health, safety & hygiene
- Aftercare advice
- Consultation techniques
- Contraindications
- Accurate skin diagnosis using mapping techniques
- Selecting the correct products and techniques to suit your clients' requirements
- Superficial and deep cleansing routines
- Steaming and extraction of skin blockages
- Skin exfoliation
- Massage of the face, neck and shoulders using relaxing techniques
- Mask application - you will be shown how to mix your own masks
- Scalp massage
- Application of moisturiser
- Retailing - product advice and pricing and business advise
A significant amount of home study and background reading is necessary. Students should set aside approximately three to four hours per week to work on home assignments.
An extensive manual will be given to you for your course as well as a recommended reading list is supplied at the beginning of the course.
