This level 3 body massage course is a great foundation to start your career as a therapist. Massage is one of the most immediate, accessible and pleasurable complementary therapies. Massage therapy works by stimulating the body's self-healing mechanism to function efficiently.

During the course we cover: -
- Business Practice for Complementary Therapies
- Principles and Practice for Complementary Therapies
- Health, Safety and Hygiene for Complementary Therapies
- Knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology for Complementary Therapies
- First Aid for Complementary Therapies
- Provide Body Massage for Complementary Therapies
- Reflective Practice for Body Massage
- A significant amount of home study and background reading is necessary.
- Students should set aside approximately four to five hours per week to work on home assignments.
An extensive manual will be given to you for your course as well as a recommended reading list is supplied at the beginning of the course.
This course is mapped to the National Standard and Core Curriculum laid down by the General Council for Massage Therapists and accredited The Federation of Holistic Therapists.

Upon successful completion of the course learners will be awarded the following qualification(s):-
- Body Massage Level 3 Diploma = 22 CPD
- Anatomy and Physiology Level 3
- Pathology Level 3
- Health and Safety Level 3
- First Aid Level 2
If you hold a Body Massage qualification, this can be upgraded to a Sports Massage Level 3 qualification: -
You will need to spend 2 days in college and complete: -
- Written Assessment
- 30 hours of Case Studies, 15 clients each having 2 treatments
- Practical Assessment
